January classes have started. Timetable as last semester.

The office will be closed from Wednesday, December 22 and will re-open on Tuesday, January 4th.

Hospitality exams on Tuesday & Wednesday December 14/15 at 10.00 am
HNDB exam Wednesday 15th at 9.30 am

Christmas holidays from December 15 re-opening Monday January 31st.

New visa regulations will come into force on January 1st 2011.

All students should make themselves aware of how it will affect their status in Ireland.

Current Students:

Registration Expiring Before January 1^st 2011:

• Renew before December 31^st 2010
• Re-register on current course or a new course for 1 year
• At the end of that year student can again register for 1 year
• After 2 years student must enrol on Degree course or leave the State

Registration Expiring on or after January 1^st 2011:

Here less than 3 years:

• Students can continue on their current course for up to a maximum of two years.
• Once they have completed 3 years on a non degree programme they can only  continue to remain on a Level 7 degree programme

Here over 3 years & less than 7 years:

• Students can complete 1 more year of non degree course
• Student must then enrol on a level 7 degree course

Here 7 years or longer:

• Student will be given 6 months special extension to apply for a green card
• If green card granted they will be re-classified with a Stamp 1
• If refused they must leave the State

Classes will commence as follows:

Hospitality: Monday September 13th @ 9.30

HND Business: Wednesday September 15th @ 9.30

There will be 3 more classes in accounting starting next Tuesday May 4th with the exam on Tuesday May 25th.

There will be no Accounting for Hospitality or HND Business classes next week (w/c 29/03/10) as Liam is away. The following week is Easter holidays.
